Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zabývá popisem Operace Kovboj, kterou provedla US Army na jaře 1945 za účelem záchrany hřebčína v Hostouni. Práce je kromě úvodu a závěru rozdělena do tří kapitol. V první je popsán základní rámec osvobozovacího procesu americkou armádou na západě Čech. Navazující druhá kapitola se věnuje témuž fenoménu na území Domažlicka. Třetí kapitola se věnuje samotné Operaci Kovboj a detailnímu …more
Abstract:
The bachelor thesis deals with the description of Operation Cowboy, which was carried out by the US Army in the spring of 1945 in order to save the stud farm in Hostoun. The thesis is divided into three chapters in addition to the introduction and conclusion. The first describes the basic framework of the liberation process by the US Army in western Bohemia.
