Abstract:

Záměrem této bakalářské práce je vyobrazit proces sestavení účetní závěrky dle české účetní legislativy s následným cílem zhodnocením vývoje hospodaření akciové společnosti Huhtamaki Česká republika v letech 2015–2019. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. V rámci teoretické části je v závislosti na cíli práce nejprve přiblížen pojem účetnictví a jeho legislativní úprava. Následně je objasněna problematika účetí závěrky, včetně vymezení přípravných uzávěrkových prací a samotných složek účetní závěrky. Aplikační část se nejprve zaměřuje na popis procesu uzávěrkových prací vedoucích k sestavení účetní závěrky ve vybraném podniku Huhtamaki Česká republika, a. s. Dále je provedena analýza výkazů účetních závěrek společnosti sestavených za sledované období. Pozornost je zaměřena na strukturu a vývoj položek rozvahy a výkazu zisku a ztráty. Za pomocí metody komparace jsou takto získaná data porovnávána, je možné vyvodit zjištění a zhodnotit hospodaření vybrané akciové společnosti. Naplnění cíle práce bylo podpořeno zodpovězením předem stanovených výzkumných otázek. Na základě diskuse výsledků lze podnik Huhtamaki Česká republika a. s. označit za stabilní, prosperující a finančně zdravou společnost s velkým potenciálem. S cílem udržení ekonomické prosperity a konkurenceschopnosti společnosti jsou navržena příslušná doporučení.

Abstract:

The purpose of this bachelor's thesis is to present the process of preparing financial statements in accordance with Czech accounting law with the subsequent goal of evaluating the development of the joint stock company Huhtamaki Czech Republic in the years 2015–2019. The thesis is divided into two parts. Within the theoretical part, depending on the aim of the thesis, the concept of accounting and its legislative is introduced first. Then, the issue of financial statements is clarified, including the definition of preparatory closing work and the components of the financial statements themselves. The application part which is firstly focused on the description of the process of closing work leads to the preparation of financial statements in the selected company Huhtamaki Czech Republic, a.s. Furthermore, an analysis of the company's financial statements prepared the period is performed. Attention is focused on the structure and development of balance sheet and profit and loss statement items. Using the method of comparison, the data obtained by this way are compared, it is possible to draw findings and derive the results and evaluate the management of the selected joint stock company. Fulfillment of the goal of the work was supported by answering predetermined research questions. Based on the discussion of the results, Huhtamaki Česká republika a. s. Can be described as a stable, prosperous and financially sound company with great potential. In order to maintain the economic prosperity and competitiveness of the company, appropriate recommendations are proposed.
