The living situation of clients at the early intervention centre in Uherské Hradiště

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na životní situaci klientů rané péče v Uherském Hradišti. Cílem této práce je zodpovědět hlavní výzkumnou otázku: „„Zda a jak se změnila životní situace rodin dětí se zdravotním postižením poté, co se staly klienty rané péče?“ Práce je členěna do šesti na sebe navazujících kapitol. V teoretické části vymezuji pojmy sociální fungování a životní situace, zabývám se životní situací rodiny dítěte se zdravotním postižením. Zde poukazuji na prvky, které mohou ovlivňovat její schopnost zvládat před ni stavěné životní úkoly. Dále poukazuji na možné zdroje pomoci a podpory v rodině a sociálním prostředí, které reagují na prvky životní situace a pomáhají obnovit sociální fungování rodiny. Nakonec věnuji pozornost sociální službě raná péče. Ta je zaměřena na včasné objevení, kontrolu a eliminaci faktorů, které mohou narušovat sociální fungování rodiny dítěte se zdravotním postižením. Při výzkumu jsem postupovala dle pravidel kvalitativní výzkumné strategie, kde jsem využila metody polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. Rozhovory jsem uskutečnila s klienty rané péče a ty mi pomohly odpovědět na hlavní výzkumnou otázku. Výzkum jsem prováděla v poradně rané péče. Abstract:

The thesis focuses on the life situation of clients of early intervention in Uherské Hradiště. The aim of this thesis is to answer the main research question: “Did the life situation of families with a child with disability change after they had become clients of early intervention?“ The thesis is divided into six chapters. In the theoretical section I explain terms such as social function and life situation and I deal with the life situation of a family with a child with disability. I point out aspects, which can influence its ability to deal with life tasks. Furthermore, I deal with possible sources of help and support in a family and the social environment, which react to aspects of the life situation and help to restore the social function of a family. Finally, I pay attention to the social service of early intervention. This part focuses on a well-timed discovery, control and elimination of factors, which could disturb the function of a family with a child with disability. In research, I followed the rules of qualitative research strategy. The sem-structured interview method was used. By interview with clients of early intervention I answered the main research question. The research was conducted at the early intervention center.
