Dialog Faidón je dualistický. Dualismus ve Faidónu v sobě skýtá několik hledisek - je to hledisko epistemologické, antropologické, ontologické a etické. Po podrobném zkoumání vychází najevo, a to i přes bohatou diskusi epistemologických problémů -, že nejvýznačnější formou pro Platóna je forma etická. Abstract:
The dialogue Phaedo is indeed dualistic. Dualism in the Phaedo contains several points of view: there is an epistemological, anthropological, ontological and ethical one. After detailed investigation, it appears despite rich discussion of epistemological issues that the most significant form of dualism for Plato is the ethical.
