Conseption of immortality in chosen beletristic works of the 20th century
Abstract:
Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou a interpretací čtyř vybraných děl západní literatury, ve kterých vystupují nesmrtelné postavy. Teoretická část je věnovaná vymezení pojmu nesmrtelnost, vnímání konceptu nesmrtelnosti v průběhu historie a bibliografickým a biografickým údajům. V praktické části jsou rozebrány konkrétní nesmrtelné postavy.
Abstract:
The master thesis focuses on the analysis and interpretation of selected works of western literature in which there are immortal characters. The theoretical part deals with the definition of immortality, reception of the concept of immortality in history and bibliografical and biografical informations. The practical part deals with particular immortal characters.
