Czech Urban Competitiveness Atlas - Jihomoravsky region

Abstract:

Cílem teto bakalářské práce je zhodnoceni konkurenceschopnosti správních obvodů ORP v Jihomoravském kraji. Obsahově lze práci rozdělit do tří částí. První část popisuje základní definice konkurenceschopnosti a její hlavni hnací faktory podporující rozvoj regionu a měst. Další část vysvětluje užitou metodologii dle Hugginse (2003), která byla upravena pro české podmínky. V poslední části je provedena analýza faktorů konkurenceschopnosti obcí s rozšířenou působností v Jihomoravském kraji.

Abstract:

The purpose of the bachelor's thesis is to achieve competitiveness of administrative districts ORP in the South Moravian Region. Content of the work can be divided into three parts. The first part describes the basic definitions of the competitiveness and its main driving factors supporting the development of regions and cities. The following section explains the methodology applied according to Huggins (2003), which was adapted to Czech conditions. The last part provides an analysis of factors of competitiveness in municipalities with extended power in the South Moravian Region.
