Timber structure building of a primary art school

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem základní umělecké školy. Hlavním cílem byl funkční architektonicko-dispoziční návrh plně využívající konstrukci těžkého skeletu s důrazem na vzdušný dostatečně prosluněný a akusticky vyhovující prostor pro učebny a zázemí školy. Stavba je navržena ve městě Dolní Kounice jako dvoupodlažní s vegetačními prvky na obvodovém a střešním plášti. Základní umělecká škola je navržena tak, aby sloužila ke vzdělávání a rozvoji mimoškolních aktivit dětí ve věku od 5 do 15 let. V objektu se nachází tři učebny pro skupinové kroužky, tři malé učebny pro individuální výuky, výstavní prostor, baletní sál, technické a hygienické zázemí. Na stavbu byl vytvořen energetický štítek obálky budovy a byla vypočtena orientační cena nákladů na jeho výstavbu. Základní umělecká škola byla také posouzena z pohledu požární bezpečnosti staveb. Návrh odráží základní technické, hygienické a bezpečnostní standardy. Návrh využívá aktuální nabídku stavebních materiálů, výrobků a technologií na trhu.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the design of a primary art school. The main objective was to create a functional architectural design by using mass timber system with emphasis on an airy, sufficiently ventilated and acoustically suitable space for classrooms and school facilities. The building is proposed in the town of Dolní Kounice as a two-storey building with vegetation elements on the perimeter and roof cladding. The primary art school is meant to serve for education and development of afterschool activities for children between 5 to 15 years of age. There are three classrooms for group lectures, three small classrooms for individual lessons, an exhibition space, a ballet hall, technical and sanitary facilities. An energy label of the building envelope has been created and an approximate cost of construction has been calculated. The building was also checked for fire resistance. The design reflects basic engineering, health and safety standards and uses the current range of building materials and technologies on the market.
