The thesis is devoted to studying gender diversity in the Czech judiciary. Firstly, it conceptualises gender diversity and emphasises its importance in the context of Czech courts. The second part summarises the state of the art on whether the judge's gender can affect the decision-making process. The third chapter provides a case study on the crime of rape.
