Vliv koronavirové pandemie na rozvoj cestovního ruchu

Abstract:

Tato práce se zaměřuje na hodnocení dopadu pandemie COVID-19 na rozvoj turismu v České republice, identifikaci dopadů koronavirové krize na průmysl turismu, změn preferencí turistů a potenciální rozvoj domácího turismu. Nejprve je v práci proveden literární průzkum, který porovnává názory odborníků na danou problematiku, aby došlo k širšímu teoretickému přehledu o tématu. Výsledkem je hlubší a efektivnější porozumění turismu v souvislosti s krizí COVID-19. V druhé části práce jsou prezentována primární a sekundární data, a popsány metody, které byly použity k zodpovězení výzkumných otázek a ověření hypotézy. Strukturovaného řízeného rozhovoru se zúčastnili odborníci z praxe, konkrétně vedoucí Institutu turismu z agentury CzechTourism, hlavní ministerský rada z Ministerstva pro místní rozvoj a koordinátorka organizací destinačního managementu ze Středočeské centrály cestovního ruchu. Další výzkumnou metodou bylo dotazníkové šetření, analýza dokumentů a statistické metody, jako je korelace a test nezávislosti Chí – kvadrát. Výsledky výzkumu identifikovaly negativní dopady pandemie COVID-19 na průmysl turismu v České republice, ale také na mezinárodní cestovní ruch. Koronavirová krize přinesla některé pozitivní změny, jako například zvýšený zájem o domácí turismus, rozvoj digitalizace a inovací informačních a komunikačních technologií v oblasti cestovního ruchu nebo pozitivní dopad na životní prostředí. Výsledky této práce mohou být přínosné pro poskytovatele turistických služeb nebo organizace působící v odvětví cestovního ruchu a v neposlední řadě také pro autory, kteří se zabývají dopadem koronavirové krize, nejen na území České republiky.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the assessment of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the development of tourism in the Czech Republic, the identification of the effects of the coronavirus crisis on the tourism industry, changes in tourist preferences and the potential development of domestic tourism. First, a literature survey is carried out in the thesis, which compares the opinions of experts on the given issue in order to obtain a broader theoretical overview of the topic is a deeper and more effective understanding of tourism in relation to the COVID-19 crisis. The second part of the thesis contains older primary and secondary data, and describes the methods that were part of answering the research questions and verifying the hypotheses. Experts from practice took part in the structured guided interview, namely the head of the Institute of Tourism from the CzechTourism agency, the main ministerial council from the Ministry for Regional Development and the coordinator of destination management organizations from the Central Bohemian Tourism Headquarters. Another research method was questionnaire survey, document analysis and statistical methods such as correlation and Chi-squared test. The research results identified the negative impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the tourism industry in the Czech Republic, but also on international tourism. The coronavirus crisis has brought some positive changes, such as an increased interest in domestic tourism, the development of digitization and innovations in information and communication technologies in the field of tourism, or a positive impact on the environment. The results of this work can be beneficial for providers of tourist services or organizations operating in the tourism industry, and last but not least, also for authors who deal with the impact of the coronavirus crisis not only on the territory of the Czech Republic.
