Interpretation of contemporary Czech prose in literary education

Abstract:

Disertační práce Interpretace současné české prózy v literární výchově je rozdělena do čtyř částí. V prvním oddílu Literárněvědná interpretace a potenciální didaktické konotace vymezujeme termín interpretace v perspektivě různých metodologických přístupů, věnujeme se hermeneutickým kořenům interpretace, problematice utváření významu, kontextu, autora a čtenáře. V druhém oddílu Literární výchova a didaktická interpretace se zabýváme koncepcí literární výchovy v dobových proměnách, rozdíly mezi literárněvědnou a didaktickou interpretací, komunikačním pojetím literárního vyučování v horizontu pedagogických zásad, otázkami motivace a reflexí dvou funkcí literatury estetickou a výchovnou. V třetím oddílu Vybrané kapitoly z české prózy počátku třetího milénia pojednáváme o určujících tendencích české prózy po roce 2000 a zpracováváme kapitoly z děl současných spisovatelů Hany Andronikové, Jana Balabána, Emila Hakla a Jáchyma Topola. Ve čtvrtém oddílu Didaktická aplikace vybraných problémů české prózy počátku třetího milénia se zaměřujeme na tematiku soudobé domácí literární tvorby v rovině jejího začlenění do středoškolské literární výchovy, přičemž pozornost směřujeme k rozmanitým aspektům této problematiky postmoderní estetice, čtenářské roli žáka a místům nedourčenosti, kontextu současné prózy ve výuce literatury, časoprostorové charakteristice díla; mýtu, symbolu, fantastice, snu, poetice chaosu a fragmentu jako výzvám didaktické interpretaci; světu umění, intermedialitě a mezipředmětovým vztahům.

Abstract:

The submitted doctoral thesis The Interpretation of Contemporary Czech prose in Literary Education is divided into four parts. In the first section Literary Theoretical Interpretation and Potential Educational Connotations the concept of interpretation in the perspective of different methodological approaches is defined. Attention is also paid to the hermeneutic roots of interpretation, the issue of creating meaning, to context and the relation between author and reader. The second section Literary Education and Didactic Interpretation deals with the conception of literary education in temporal transformations, the differences between literary theoretical and didactic interpretation, the communication strategy of literary teaching in the horizon of pedagogical principles, the issues of motivation and the reflection of two functions of literature aesthetic and educational. The third section Selected Chapters from Czech Prose at the Beginning of the Third Millennium focuses on the main tendencies in Czech prose after the year 2000 and the themes from works written by contemporary Czech novelists Hana Androniková, Jan Balabán, Emil Hakl and Jáchym Topol. The fourth section Didactic Application of Selected Problems of Czech Prose at the Beginning of Third Millennium concentrates on the topic of contemporary domestic literary production in the framework of its integration into the school literary education. Attention is centred on the diverse aspects of this issue postmodern aesthetics, a student in the role of a reader and the places of indeterminacy, the context of contemporary Czech prose in literary teaching, the spatiotemporal characteristics of works; the myth, symbol, dream, poetics of chaos and fragment as challenges for didactic interpretation; the world of art, intermedial trends and inter-subject relations.
