Abstract:

Děti s poruchami autistického spektra mají obvykle narušené komunikační schopnosti. Tato skutečnost jim ztěžuje komunikaci s okolím, protože nemohou dostatečně vyjádřit své pocity a potřeby. Narušená komunikační schopnost je také jednou z hlavních příčin potíží v jejich výchovném a vzdělávacím procesu. Včasná diagnóza, následná speciálně pedagogická intervence a v případě potřeby také vhodný výběr augmentativní a alternativní komunikační metody dětem usnadní pobyt v mateřské škole a následně i začlenění do dalšího vzdělávacího procesu. Děti s poruchami autistického spektra budou schopné lépe navazovat vztahy s okolím i vrstevníky. Tato skutečnost významně přispěje k pocitu bezpečí, jistoty a celkově jejich lepšímu psychickému rozpoložení. Cílem práce je představit Výměnný obrázkový komunikační systém jako možnou náhradu mluvené řeči u předškolních dětí s poruchami autistického spektra.

Abstract:

Children with autism spectrum disorders usually have impaired communication skills. This makes it difficult for them to communicate with others because they cannot express their feelings and needs adequately. Impaired communication skills are also one of the main causes of difficulties in their upbringing and education. Early diagnosis, subsequent special educational intervention and, if necessary, the appropriate choice of augmentative and alternative communication methods will facilitate the children's stay in kindergarten and, subsequently, their integration into the further educational process. Children with autism spectrum disorders will be able to better establish relationships with their environment and peers. This will contribute significantly to their sense of safety, security and overall better psychological well-being. The aim of this paper is to present the Picture Exchange Communication System as a possible substitute for spoken language in preschool children with autism spectrum disorders.
