Offenses and Crimes against the Currency

Abstract:

Moje bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem deliktů a trestných činů proti měně, ve kterém jsem se snažil shrnout celou problematiku do jednotného a srozumitelného celku. Vymezil jsem v ní historický vývoj peněz a charakterizoval jsem jednotlivé platební prostředky. Blíže jsem se zabýval technickou ochranou vybraných platebních prostředků, jejichž znalost je důležitá v boji proti padělatelům. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována právní úpravě a ochraně měny podle norem finančního a trestního práva a jejich vzájemné komparaci. Na závěr se věnuji postupům a činnosti policie v případech výskytu padělků a její spolupráce s dalšími subjekty.

Abstract:

In my bachelor thesis, concerned with offences and crimes against currency, I tried to summarize the whole topic into one unified and comprehensive complex. I specified the historical development of currency and characterized the individual means of payment. I closely focused on forms of protection of selected means of payment, knowledge of which is key with regards to fighting forgery. I paid special attention to legal forms and currency protection according to the regulations of financial and criminal law and their comparison. Lastly I address procedures and activities of police force in cases of forgery and their cooperation with other authorities.
