Cieľom tejto práce je preskúmať motiváciu študentov českých stredných škôl učiť sa a osvojovať si angličtinu, či v škole alebo mimo školy. Teoretická časť uvádza a spája koncepty motivácie a mimoškolskej angličtiny. V praktickej časti sú pomocou výskumu kvantitatívneho dizajnu zodpovedané tri otázky výskumu. This thesis aims to explore the motivation of Czech upper-secondary school students to learn and acquire English, both in class and extramurally. The concepts of motivation and extramural English are introduced and connected in the theoretical part.
