Learning and Development of Employees in the Company XYZ

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je analýza systému vzdělávání a rozvoje zaměstnanců ve společnosti XYZ. První část práce je teoretická a vychází z rešerše odborné literatury. Jsou v ní vymezeny základní pojmy související s vybranou problematikou, vysvětleny jednotlivé fáze tzv. systematického vzdělávání a rozvoje zaměstnanců a jsou specifikovány role jednotlivých účastníků tohoto personálního procesu. Na teoretickou část navazuje praktická část práce. K analýze současného systému vzdělávání a rozvoje zaměstnanců ve společnosti XYZ je použita kombinace několika výzkumných metod. Nejprve metoda deskripce, která umožňuje blíže popsat a charakterizovat stávající systém vzdělávání a rozvoje a jejíž výsledky je možné porovnat s teoretickými východisky. Následuje metoda kvantitativního výzkumu formou dotazníkového šetření. Výsledky výzkumu jsou doplněny o závěry polostrukturovaných rozhovorů se zaměstnanci za účelem hlubšího zhodnocení stávajícího systému. Kvalitativní výzkum totiž umožňuje získat některé detailnější informace. Kromě toho zvláštní pozornost je věnována také bariérám vzdělávání ve společnosti. Na základě získaných teoretických poznatků a realizovaného výzkumu jsou identifikovány silné a slabé stránky stávajícího systému vzdělávání a rozvoje a předloženy návrhy na zvýšení jeho efektivnosti.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze the system of learning and development of employees in the company XYZ. The first part is theoretical and based on a literature review. It defines the basic concepts related to the selected issue, explains the various stages of the systematic approach towards learning and development of employees and specifies the roles of participants in this personnel process. The following part is practical and includes a combination of several research methods, which are used to analyze the current system of corporate education and development in the company. First, a description method allows to characterize the current system of education and development of employees, the results of the description can be compared with the theoretical basis. The quantitative research method is following in the form of a questionnaire survey. The results of the research are complemented with the conclusions based on semi-structured interviews with employees. The qualitative research makes it possible to assess the current system of corporate education in more depth. In addition, special attention is paid to educational barriers in the company. Based on the gained theoretical knowledge and the research carried out, the strengths and weaknesses of the current system of corporate learning and development are identified and the measures for increasing its effectiveness are suggested.
