Depreciation of long-term assets and its impact on a deferred tax

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o odpisování dlouhodobého majetku a jeho vlivu na odloženou daň v České republice. V teoretické části je nejprve dlouhodobý majetek pro potřeby odpisování vymezen, jsou zde popsány odpisy z účetního i daňového hlediska a jejich jednotlivé metody, které jsou znázorněny na praktických příkladech. Dále je zde přiblížena problematika odložené daně, příčiny jejího vzniku, způsoby výpočtu a postup účtování. Praktická část je zaměřena na analýzu vybraných částí účetních závěrek tří konkrétních společností v letech 2011 až 2013. Předmětem této analýzy je dlouhodobý majetek, odpisy, odložená daň a její vliv na finanční situaci vybraných společností. Veškeré sesbírané informace jsou mezi sebou na závěr srovnány a vyhodnoceny.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis concerns with a depreciation of long-term assets and its impact on a deferred tax in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part describes the long-term assets, the depreciation from the view of accountancy and taxation and the depreciation methods that are followed by practical examples. Furthermore it explains issues of the deferred tax, causes of its formation, methods of calculation and accounting. The practical part is focused on analysis of financial statements' parts of three companies within the years from 2011 to 2013. The analysis concentrates on the long-term assets, the depreciation and the deferred tax and its impact on financial position of the selected companies. All collected information is compared and evaluated.
