The Comparison of the system management institution providing social servises with the institutacion from a comercial sector

Abstract:

ABSTRAKT Předmětem mé diplomové práce je srovnání managementu institucí poskytující sociální služby s institucí komerčního sektoru. Pro komerční sektor jsem zvolil hotely, pro sociální služby domovy pro seniory. V teoretické části jsem se zaměřil na popis základních funkcí managementu. Dále aplikuji získané informace na jednotlivé instituce sociálního a komerčního charakteru a snažím se vystihnout jádro dané problematiky. Při zpracování diplomové práce vycházím především z dostupné odborné literatury zabývající se problematikou managementu, nástroji řízení kvality a danou legislativou, která upravuje činnost jednotlivých zařízení. Ve druhé části, metodické, popisuji cíl výzkumu, výzkumnou strategii, charakteristiku zkoumaných zařízení. V realizační fázi uvádím vyhodnocení výzkumu. Rozhovory s jednotlivými respondenty jsou uvedeny v příloze mé diplomové práce. V závěru se pokusím odpovědět na otázku, zda lze přeměnit hotel na zařízení poskytující sociální služby pro seniory.

Abstract:

The subject of my thesis is a comparison of management of institutions providing social services with management of the commercial sector institutions. For the commercial sector I chose hotels, arepresentative item for the social services are homes for seniors. The theoretical part is focused on the description of the basic management functions. Further I apply the gained information to various social and commercial institutions and try to describe the core of the issue. The thesis is based mainly on available literature dealing with management, quality management tools and the legislation, that regulates the activity of individual institutions. The second, methodical, part describes the aim of the research,research strategy, the characteristics of examined institutions. In the implementation phase, there I present the evaluation of research. The Interviews with individual respondents are listed in theappendix of my thesis. In conclusion, there I try to answer the question whether it is possible to convert a hotel to a institutions providing social services for seniors.
