Abstract:

Diplomová práce "Výuka anglického jazyka využitím fantasy literatury v mezipředmětovém výukovém projektu" pojednává o využití fantasy literatury ve výuce naglického jazyka na vyšším stupni základních škol v České republice. Cílem práce je ukázat jak čtení knih tohoto žánru v kombinaci s principy projektové výuky může přispět k pozitivnímu zážitku při čtení a motivovat žáky jak ke čtení tak k učení se angličtině jako cizímu jazyku. Porvedený výzkum je založen na mezipředmětovém projektu uskutečněném na základní škole v hodinách anglického jazyka, výtvarné výchovy a informatiky.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis "Teaching English through fantasy literature in a cross curricular project" deals with using fantasy literature in teaching English at lower secondary schools in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to show how extensive reading of fantasy books combined with the principles of project based teaching can contribute to pupils' positive experience of reading and motivate them both to read and to learn English as a foreign language. The conducted research is based on a cross curricular project piloted at a lower secondary school in the lessons of English, Art and IT.
