Language specifics of electronic communication

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na elektronickou komunikaci, popisuje její počátky a rozvoj v České republice. Zabývá se také internetovým prostředím, které je pro mnoho uživatelů místem bez zábran. Tuto práci tvoří přehled možných forem elektronické komunikace ? e-mail, ICQ, Skype, největší část je věnována současnému fenoménu ? Facebooku a stále oblíbenému chatu, neboť oba typy patří už několik let k nejpoužívanějším prostředkům elektronické komunikace. Práce se také zaměřuje na příspěvky uživatelů na diskusních fórech, která jsou součástí elektronických periodik. Tato diplomová práce byla sepsána na základě studia literatury a internetových stránek zabývajících se touto tématikou a poznatků z vlastního výzkumu.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis concentrates on the electronic communication, describes its beginnings and development in the Czech Republic. It also deals with the Internet environment, which represents a place with no restrictions for many of its users. This thesis consists of a survey of the possible forms of electronic communication ? e-mail, ICQ, Skype, the largest part is devoted to the contemporary phenomenon ? Facebook and still favourite chat, because both types have belonged to the most used means of electronic communication for several years. The work also concentrates on contributions of users of the discussion forums that are parts of the electronic periodicals. This diploma thesis is based on literature and Internet pages concerned with this topic and findings of the student´s research.
