Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá obdobím vývoje Jižní Koreje od převzetí moci militaristickou vládou po úspěšné zakončení procesu demokratizace. Mimo to se práce dále zabývá autoritativními režimy celkově. První, teoretická část práce se věnuje vymezení, definici a rozdělení různých autoritativních režimů a vysvětluje rozdíly mezi autoritativními a totalitními režimy. Dále se práce okrajově zabývá nástupem autoritativního režimu k moci, aby se následně podrobně věnovala období určité liberalizace, ve kterém lze spatřit první náznaky organizování politické opozice.Druhá, praktická část práce se věnuje ekonomickému vývoji Jižní Koreje – definuje ekonomický a sociální status země po korejské válce, detailně popisuje strukturální změny a rozvoj Jižní Koreje ve sledovaném období, sleduje ekonomický rozvoj v primárním, sekundárním a terciárním sektoru a detailně analyzuje veškeré faktory, které měly vliv na jihokorejský ekonomický rozvoj.Mezi hlavní závěry práce patří důkaz, že jedním z největších vlivů na demokratizaci Jižní Koreje mělo konání Asijských her v roce 1986 a olympijských her v roce 1988 a že vláda Jižní Koreje měla hlavní a rozhodující vliv na ekonomický rozvoj země.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the period of democratization of South Korea and authoritarian regimes. The first, theoretical part of the thesis deals with the definition and division of various authoritarian regimes. It explains the difference between authoritarian and totalitarian regimes. In the next part, the thesis deals with the marginal approach of the authoritarian regime to the power to subsequently, focused on the period of liberalization in which we can see the first signs of organizing political opposition. The second, practical part deals with the economic development of South Korea – it defines the economic and social status of the country after the Korean War, describes in detail the structural changes and development of South Korea in the period under review, monitors economic development in the primary, secondary and tertiary sectors which had an impact on South Korean economic development. The main conclusions of the thesis include evidence that one of the greatest influences on the democratization of South Korea was the holding of the 1986 Asian Games and the Olympic Games in 1988 and that the government of South Korea had a major and decisive influence on the economic development of the country.
