Traditional cultivation of the asparagus and Asparagus Festival in Ivančice
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na tradiční pěstování chřestu v Ivančicích. Práce je rozdělena do několika kapitol, kde je představen chřest jako rostlina a zelenina, historie pěstování chřestu v Ivančicích a současný potenciál pěstování chřestu a možnosti obnovení. Jako nositel této zaniklé tradice jsou popsány Slavnosti chřestu, které se ve městě každoročně konají.
Abstract:
The bachelor thesis is focused on traditional cultivation of the asparagus in Ivančice. This work is divided into several chapters, where is presented the asparagus as a plant and vegetable, asparagus cultivation history and current growing asparagus and potential recovery options in Ivančice. There is described Asparagus Festival as the bearer of this extinct tradition. This festival is held annually …more
