Acute thoracic aortic dissection

Abstract:

V bakalářské práci se zabývám problematikou akutní disekce hrudní aorty a její patologií vzniku, diagnostikou, léčbou a ošetřovatelskou péčí v nemocničním zařízení. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část této práce předkládá základní informace o anatomii hrudní aorty, příčinách vedoucích ke vzniku aortální disekce a seznamuje čtenáře s problematikou řešení akutního stavu na oddělení intenzivní péče. Po přečtení by čtenář měl mít představu o závažnosti tohoto onemocnění, diagnostice, principech léčby a ošetřovatelském procesu doprovázejícím komplexní péči o pacienta s tímto onemocněním. V praktické části jsou popsány kazuistiky dvou pacientů, kterým byla diagnostikována akutní disekce typu A nebo B, s nutností neodkladného operačního výkonu. Důraz je kladen na podrobný popis pooperačního průběhu. Cílem práce je tak seznámit čtenáře s ošetřovatelskou péčí na oddělení intenzivní medicíny a přiblížit náročnost a důležitost ošetřovatelské péče při zvládání tohoto závažného onemocnění.

Abstract:

The purpose of this thesis is to elaborate on an acute dissection of thoracic aorta, specifically the pathology of its origin, diagnostics, treatment and nursing care in the hospital facilities. This piece of work is divided into a theoretical and practical part. The matter of the theoretical part is to introduce the basic information about the thoracic aorta anatomy, the causes leading to a thoracic aorta dissection and how to deal with acute health conditions in intensive care units. In this part, a reader is provided with an insight about the seriousness of the disease, its diagnostics, treatment principles and nursing process that accompanies complex patience care in such a case. In the practical part of the thesis, there are described two case studies that take form of casuistry. The case studies are examples of patients diagnosed with an acute dissection of both the type A and B where the surgery had to take place urgently. The emphasis is placed on the detailed description of the post treatment part in regards to the surgery. The aim of that description is to introduce how the nursing care deals with such a serious disease.
