Anotácia:

The thesis aims to evaluate the financial condition of LG Electronics using the financial ratios and to determine the likelihood of the potential economic growth and the future economic performance. In the first part theoretical background of financial ratios and other implemented instruments, such as bankruptcy models, is reviewed. Later macroeconomic analysis is performed to evaluate the economic environment in South Korea. After that features of corporate governance and shareholder composition are discussed in this thesis. Finally, all theoretical concepts implemented on the financial data of LG Electronics to evaluate the financial health as well as the possibility of financial distress and prosperous growth in the future of LG Electronics.
