Text práce se dá rozdělit na dvě části. V té první přibližuji vývoj města Uherský Brod a okolních vesnic, od pravěkého osídlení, přes založení města a první doložené zmínky, až po období, kdy uherskobrodské panství získal rod Kouniců, což bylo v první pětině 17. století. The whole text can be divided into two parts. In the first one I´m approaching development of the town Uhersky Brod and surrounding villages from prehistoric settlement, through the first documented mentions, until the period, when Uhersky Brod´s manor obtained Kounic clan, which was in the first fifth of the 17th century.
