The Greek Debt Crisis in the context of euro area membership

Anotace:

The aim of the paper is to assess the Greek debt crisis comprehensively in the context of euro area membership. The causes of the Greek debt crisis are the key subject of research in this thesis. The thesis asks whether the Greek debt crisis occurred as a result of Greece's entry into the Eurozone. The thesis then examines the resolution of the crisis and concludes with an analysis of the impact of the Greek crisis on other Eurozone economies - specifically Spain and Portugal.
