Abstract:
Tato bakalářská diplomová práce je primárně zaměřena na rozbor maorských mýtů a legend. Tento rozbor vychází z teorie archetypů Carla G. Junga. Mythologie je zde považována za nástroj, díky kterému můžeme zkoumat vzorce chování Mãorů. Cílem práce je ukázat, jaký vliv měly mýty na současné postavení Mãorů v novozélandské společnosti.
Abstract:
The Bachelor‘s Diploma Thesis is primarily focused on analysis of Mãori myths and legends based on Carl G. Jung’s theory of archetypal symbols. Treating the mythology as a device for exploring Mãori patterns of behavior, the thesis tries to prove its substantial impact on current social status of Mãori people in the society of New Zealand.
