The choice of professional orientation of people with hearing impairments

Abstract:

Ve své diplomové práci se zaměřuji na problematiku sluchově postižených a volbu jejich profesní orientace. Uvádím klasifikaci sluchových vad a stručný přehled historie péče o sluchově postižené jedince. Nabízím pohled na osobnost sluchově postiženého a složky osobnosti, které mohou být nejvíce narušeny. Prezentuji metody komunikace, které se používají ve výuce osob se sluchovým postižením. Práce se také zabývá vzděláváním žáků se sluchovým postižením a profesním poradenstvím. Uvádím aktuální nabídku oborů a středních škol pro žáky se sluchovým postižením. Ve své výzkumné části zjištuji, na základě čeho se rozhodují žáci se sluchovým postižením a co vede k volbě jejich profesní orientace. Zabývám se volbou dalšího vzdělávání po ukončení povinné školní docházky. Zajímalo mě, jakými faktory se žáci nechávají ovlivnit, jaké obory si žáci vybírají, kdo jim s volbou pomáhá a zda znají uplatnění oboru.

Abstract:

My thesis is focused on questions of people with hearing impairment and their choice of career orientation. There I present the classification of hearing disorders and a brief history of care. I display a personality of hearing impaired and their components which may be affected the most. There are methods of communication used in teaching people with hearing disabilities. Thesis deals with education of pupils with hearing impairment and career counselling. I mention the current list of subjects and secondary schools for pupils with hearing impairment. The part of research is focused on the way how pupils with hearing impairment make decisions and what leads them to choose the career orientation. I am trying to find out the choice of pupils completion of compulsory schooling. I wondered what factors influence the students. I find out what subjects the students choose, who helps them and if they know a situation at employment market.
