Relations between components of personality structure

Abstract:

Ústředním tématem bakalářské práce jsou vztahy mezi jednotlivými složkami struktury osobnosti. První polovina práce se věnuje teoretickým východiskům dané problematiky. Zabývám se v ní především determinací osobnosti, jednotlivými přístupy k ní s důrazem na jejich rozdílnost a strukturou osobnosti. Poslední oblasti poznatků je věnována největší pozornost. Podrobně je zde popsána charakteristika všech složek osobnosti v souvislosti s analýzou teoretických základů. Cílem práce bylo statisticky prokázat vztahy mezi vybranými složkami struktury osobnosti. Zvolenými osobnostními charakteristikami byly koncentrace pozornosti, potřeby, temperament a náchylnost ke stresu. Ke sběru dat pro výzkumnou část práce bylo využito nestandardizovaných testů a dotazníků, které zkoumají určené složky struktury osobnosti. Tato data byla poté podrobena korelační analýze. Výsledné korelační koeficienty potvrdily závislost mezi jednotlivými složkami struktury osobnosti, čímž byl naplněn cíl této práce. Na základě výsledků jsme také ověřili obsahovou validitu využitých nestandardizovaných testů.

Abstract:

The main theme of the bachelor´s thesis is the relationship between specific elements of the personality structure. In the first section of the thesis, the focus is placed on theoretical themes and the elements of this topic. In this section I am looking at the determination of personality, the various approaches to it, as well as an emphasis to their disparity and the personality structure. The most attention is payed to the last part of the thesis. In this part, the thesis is focused on the characteristics of all the components of personality in connection with an analysis of the theoretical fundations decribed in detail. The aim of the work is to statisticaly determine the relationships among particular components of personality. The personal characteristics chosen for this reserach were the concentration of attention, needs, temperament and susceptibility to stress. The data collection which was used for the research project was non-standardized tests and questionaries, which observed particular components of personality structures. This data was analyzed through correlation. The resulting correlation coeficients confirmed the relationships between individual components of personality structure and therefore the aim of the thesis was fulfilled. Based on the results of the research the validity of the content of the non-standardized tests was demonstrated.
