Abstract:

Learner autonomy in the teaching of German as a foreign language at Waldorf schools compared to primary schools of the Pardubice region This thesis compares teaching strategies that promote learner autonomy in the teaching of German as a foreign language at alternative Waldorf primary school Gorkého and at traditional primary school Závodu míru in the Pardubice region. The thesis contains two main parts, a theoretical and an empirical part. The theoretical part provides basic information about the Czech school system, the classical school, the alternative school, the Waldorf schools, the information about the two primary schools in the Pardubice region, where the research was conducted, the learner autonomy, the teaching strategies and learning forms. The entire research was conducted in 2019 and then again in 2024. The empirical part provides an analysis of the curriculum for the second-grade for the subject German as a foreign language, a comparison of the results of interviews with teachers and second-grade children of the two mentioned schools. The aim of the whole work is to provide German language teachers, students, children and their parents with an overview of teaching strategies are applied at both primary schools in the process of teaching German and that support the independence of the pupil or the pupil's autonomy in the process of learning a foreign language.

Autonomie žáka ve výuce německého jazyka na waldorfských školách ve srovnání se základními školami v Pardubickém kraji Tato diplomová práce se zabývá srovnáním učebních strategií, které podporují autonomii žáka ve výuce německého jazyka na alternativní základní Waldorfské škole Gorkého a tradiční základní škole Závodu míru v Pardubickém kraji. Práce obsahuje dvě hlavní části, část teoretickou a empirickou. Teoretická část poskytuje základní informace o českém školství, Rámcovém vzdělávacím programu, školních vzdělávacích programech pro základní vzdělávání a učebních osnovách pro německý jazyk konkrétních vybraných škol. Dále pojednává například o pojmech: klasická a alternativní škola, waldorfská pedagogika, autonomie žáka, učební strategie. V této části práce jsou uvedeny informace obou základních škol. Celý výzkum probíhal v roce 2019, a poté znovu v roce 2024. V empirické části je k dispozici analýza učebních osnov druhého stupně pro výuku německého jazyka, porovnání výsledků rozhovorů s učiteli a dětmi druhého stupně obou zmíněných škol. Cílem celé práce je poskytnout učitelům a lektorům německého jazyka, žákům a jejich rodičům přehled učebních strategií. Tyto strategie jsou aplikovány na obou školách v průběhu výuky německého jazyka a zároveň podporují samostatnost žáka, tedy jejich autonomii při procesu učení se cizímu jazyku.
