Abstract:

Projekt se má zabývat designem zařízení sloužících k reprodukci zvuku. To by se mělo uskutečnit v několika rovinách, které by se v průběhu výzkumu dále vyvíjely nebo se překrývaly. První, teoretická rovina, by měla pojednávat o mapování principů a historii reprodukce hudby s důrazem na vizuální podobu a dále by se věnovala součastnému designu audiosystémů. Zde by byla popsána podoba soudobé tvorby a důvody, které k ní vedou, to vše v kontextu s designérskými trendy a zároveň moderními technologiemi. Práce by měla plynule přejít k možným východiskům designu audiosystémů do blízké budoucnosti. Zde se otevírá další nové velké pole působnosti a to ve směru ke konceptuálnímu designu nebo volnému umění. Další rovinou projektu je praktický designérský výstup, kde by se měly zúročit všechny nabyté informace a zkušenosti a zároveň autorova kreativita.

Abstract:

The project is about the design of sound reproduction devices. This would be done on several levels, which would evolve or overlap during the course of the research. The first, theoretical level, would deal with mapping the principles and history of music reproduction, with an emphasis on visual form, and would further address contemporary design of audio systems. Here the form of contemporary production and the reasons that lead to it would be described, all in the context of design trends as well as modern technology. The thesis would move seamlessly into possible starting points for the design of audio systems in the near future. Here, another new large field of activity opens up in the direction of conceptual design or free art. Another level of the project is the practical design output, where all the acquired information and experience as well as the author's creativity should be capitalized.
