Legal status of the members of the "National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Republic" in the years 1920 to 1939

Abstract:

Tato práce je zaměřena na úpravu parlamentarismu v Československu v letech 1920-1939. Cílem práce bylo povšechně přiblížit úpravu práv a povinností poslanců a senátorů za první československé republiky, a to včetně právních odvětví, které s tím úzce souvisejí, jako úprava volebního práva či právního postavení politických stran. Blíže se práce zaměřuje na problematiku vázaných kandidátních listin, tzv. reversů a chybějícího právního rámce pro fungování politických stran. Mezi zdroje, které byly autorem použity, patří zejména, ale nikoliv výlučně, tehdejší literatura, včetně článků v odborných periodikách.

Abstract:

The focus of this thesis is on the parliamentarism legislation in 1920 to 1939 Czechoslovakia. Main goal of the thesis is to broadly introduce the topic of rights and obligations of the members of both parliament and senate during the time of the first Czechoslovak republic. Thesis includes the closely related topics of suffrage legislation and legal status of political parties. Subjects of bound candidate lists so-called reverse and missing legislation for functioning of the political parties are discussed in more detail. Sources used for this thesis were mostly but not exclusively written in the described era including the articles in scholar periodicals.
