Motivation of teachers of professional subjects and practical teaching for further education

Abstract:

Závěrečná práce mapuje faktory, které motivují učitele odborných a praktických předmětů k dalšímu studiu. Na základě teoretického rámce, jenž zahrnuje motivaci dospělých ke vzdělávání, práce určuje, které konkrétní motivy pozitivně ovlivňují ochotu učitelů dále se vzdělávat. Zároveň identifikuje motivační faktory v různých geografických regionech mimo ČR. Práce prezentuje výsledky průzkumu provedeného mezi studenty pedagogického kurzu a snaží se nalézt důvody, proč dospělí studenti absolvují kurz učitelství odborných předmětů a praktického vyučování.

Abstract:

The final thesis presents the factors that motivate teachers of professional and practi-cal subjects to further study. Based on the theoretical framework, which includes the motivation of adults for further education, the work will determine which specific mo-tives positively influence the willingness of teachers to further their education. At the same time, it identifies motivational factors in various geographical regions outside the Czech Republic. The work also presents the results of a survey conducted among students of the course “Studium Pedagogy”, which reveal the reasons why adult stu-dents attend the course for teaching professional subjects and practical teaching.
