Pain assessment of patients with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma "Hodnocení bolesti u pacientů s chorobami trávicího ústrojí se zaměřuje, jak pacienti vnímají bolest, jaké hodnotící škály vyhovují pacientům nejvíce a proč a zda byl monitoring ze strany personálu vyhovující. Teoretická část se zabývá hodnocením bolesti obecně (co je bolest, různé druhy bolestí a typy bolestí trávicího ústrojí, léčba apod.). Pak se samozřejmě zaměřuje na onemocnění žaludku a dvanáctníku, kde je také obecně popsán (průběh, etiologie, symptomatologie, léčba i ošetřovatelská péče a diagnostika atd.). Praktická část je provedena formou anonymního dotazníkového šetření u pacientů s gastroduodenální chorobou. K průzkumu bylo použito 15 otázek, které byly respondentům distribuovány formou strukturovaného rozhovoru. Dotazníky byly vyhodnoceny a zpracovány do tabulek a grafů. Otázky byly voleny tak, abychom dosáhli daného cíle. Zjistit jak nejlépe pomoci pacientům s bolestí trávicího ústrojí, zda je bolest správně identifikována, hodnocena a léčena. Zda jsou tyto metody, které se používají, pro pacienty vyhovující.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis on "Evaluation of pain of the patients with illness of digestive apparatus" focuses on how the patients perceive the pain, which evaluating scale suits them the best and why and if the help of the nurses is to them any good. The theoretical part deals with evaluation of pain in general (what pain is, different sorts of pain and types of pain of digestive apparatus, the treatment etc...). Then it focuses on the illnesses of stomach and duodenum, where it also is described in general (the course of illness, etiology, symptomatology, the treatment and nursing care, diagnostics etc.). The practical part deals with the anonymous questionnaire of patients with gastro duodenal illness. The questionnaire consists of fifteen questions, led as a dialogue. The questionnaires are later received back, evaluated and processed into tables and graphs. The questions were selected to find out a desired goal, that is, the best way on how to help the patients with pain of digestive apparatus, if the pain was identified, evaluated and treated correctly and if the methods applied are suitable for the patients.
