Controlling as SME management tool in Industry 4.0

Anotace:

With the development of science and technology, the concept of Industry 4.0 appears in all kinds of business activities. Enterprises begin to pay attention to the importance of this concept for development. At the same time, the most important link of enterprise development is controlling, which involves all aspects of enterprise production and operation activities. As main force of business activities, the development of SME is very important to the society. How to use the concept of Industry 4.0 as a controlling tool and apply it to SME is the focus of this paper. In this paper, the author will use the traditional controlling management tools and controlling management tools in the background of Industry 4.0 to make a comparison, select the management tools that are more suitable for the development of SME in the background of the times, and put forward the improvement measures for the management of SME. After a series of research, the author found that the traditional management tools are not suitable for the current era, and the management tools under the background of Industry 4.0, such as ERP, can meet the requirements like data centralized management. However, the general ERP system is not suitable for SME. The author found that cloud ERP can better meet the management needs of small and medium-sized enterprises.
