Management style and employee performance

Abstract:

Cílem práce je prozkoumat vztah mezi styly řízení manažerů a výkon-ností zaměstnanců v podniku a zároveň určit výkonnost celého podni-ku. V teoretické části práce jsou vymezeny koncepty stylů řízení, jejich vztah k pracovní výkonnosti a podnikové výkonnosti. Metodologická část popisuje konstrukci dotazníku a metody použité k jeho vyhodno-cení. V praktické části je dotazník vyhodnocen a pomocí lineární regre-se je určen vztah mezi styly řízení a pracovní výkonností. Výkonnost podniku je měřena pomocí vybraných ukazatelů a jsou navrhnuty mož-nosti zlepšení výkonnosti zaměstnanců.

Abstract:

The goal of this thesis is to research the relationship between management styles and employee performance as well as to analyze the company’s performance. Theoretical part describes concepts of management styles, their relationship to employee performance and the concept of business performance. The methodological part describes construction of questionnaire and methods used for its evaluation. The questionnaire is evaluated in the practical part using linear regression. The business performance is measured by financial ratios and solutions for increasing employee performance are presented.
