Internet dangers to children and its identification and elimination by parents

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Nebezpečí působící na děti na síti Internet a jeho následná identifikace a eliminace ze strany rodičů“ pojednává o problematice nebezpečí, která ohrožují děti při práci s celosvětovou počítačovou sítí Internet, respektive o schopnosti rodičů identifikovat a eliminovat tato nebezpečí. Internet a moderní komunikační technologie se bouřlivě rozvíjejí a vedle svých nesporných výhod, jako je například sdílení informací, se zde vyskytují i negativa ve formě šíření násilí, dětské pornografie, kyberšikany, pronásledování, kybergroomingu a mnohých dalších. Záměrem teoretické části závěrečné práce je shromáždit a zpřehlednit informace, které se zabývají problematikou internetové bezpečnosti a zmapovat tak současnou situaci v ochraně dětí a mládeže před zásadními negativními jevy internetu. Výzkumným cílem práce bude zjistit, zda rodiče dětí sledovaného věku vědí o nebezpečí na síti Internet a zda dokáží tato nebezpečí a hrozby identifikovat a následně účinně eliminovat. Vedlejší otázkou bude zjistit, zda rodiče vůbec mají přehled o chování svých dětí na síti Internet a v jaké míře dokáží kontrolovat jejich činnost na této síti. Teoretická zjištění a výsledky výzkumů předložené práce mohou změnit postoj rodičů i dětí k rizikům komunikace na internetové síti.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis "Risk applied to children on the Internet and its subsequent identification and elimination of the parents" deals with is about the dangers that threaten children when working with a global computer network, Internet, or on the ability of parents to identify and eliminate these risks. Internet and modern communication technologies to develop and boisterously alongside its undoubted advantages, such as information sharing, are also present drawbacks in the form of spreading violence, child pornography, cyberbullying, harassment, cybergrooming and many others. The aim of the theoretical part of the project is to gather and clarify information dealing with the issue of Internet security and to map the current situation and the protection of children and youth face serious negative effects the Internet. The research goal is to determine whether parents of children aged monitored aware of the dangers on the Internet and whether they can this danger and threat to identify and then effectively eliminated. Minor issues will determine whether the parents ever have an overview of the behavior of their children on the Internet and to what extent they can check their activity on the network. The theoretical findings and research results of this study may change the attitude of parents and children to the risks of communication on the Internet.
