The Importance of socially-Psychological Support Groups for Children and Adolescents with the Problem of Integration among Peers

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá sociálně psychologicky podpůrnými skupinami pro děti a dospívající s problémy se začleněním mezi vrstevníky. V teoretické části vymezuje vývojová specifika cílové skupiny, pojednává o významu vrstevnických vztahů a mapuje oblast pomoci v České republice. Úzce se zaměřuje na organizaci Unie kompas ve Zlíně, která zmiňované skupiny nabízí v rámci Poradny Logos pro děti, dospívající a jejich rodiče. Empirický výzkum se zaměřuje na účastníky skupin a je založen na hloubkových rozhovorech dokládající subjektivní názory na význam těchto skupin pro reálný život v oblastech: škola, rodina a sebepojetí.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with socially-psychological support groups for children and adolescents with integration among peers problems. In the theoretical part, it defines the developmental specifics of the target group, discusses the importance of peer relations and maps the area of assistance in the Czech Republic. It focuses narrowly on the organization Unie Kompas in Zlín, which offers these groups within Logos counselling for children, teens and their parents. Empirical research focuses on group participants and is based on in-depth interviews demonstrating subjective views on the importance of these groups for real life in the following areas: school, family and self-concept.
