Abstract:

V reálném životě je důležité rozpoznat zda a jakým způsobem příslušnost k pohlaví určuje, popřípadě znesnadňuje svobodná životní rozhodnutí. To byl důvod, proč jsem si jako téma práce zvolila téma neustále aktuální, a to diskriminaci žen. Ve své práci jsem se zaměřila jak na postavení žen v minulosti, tak na problémy dnešních žen a to jak v rodině, v pracovním procesu tak i celkově na emancipaci žen a problémy s tím související. Tato práce se skládá ze čtyř částí. První tři části jsou teoretické a část čtvrtá je věnována výzkumu. První část práce jsem věnovala postavení ženy v rodině, druhá kapitola je věnována vzdělání žen a jejich zapojení do pracovního procesu a třetí část je zaměřena na postavení ženy ve veřejném životě. Ve svém výzkumu jsem se zaměřila na problémy dnešních žen a to jak v rodině, v pracovním procesu tak i celkově na emancipaci žen a problémy s tím související. Život ženy není a nemůže být stejný jako život muže, nestejnost může však mít mnoho společenských variant, z nichž některé jsou nerovnostní. Kvantitativního výzkumného šetření se účastnili jak ženy tak i muži. Výběr respondentů byl náhodný. Pro potřeby kvalitativního šetření jsem oslovila šest žen, které byly ochotny se tohoto výzkumu účastnit formou rozhovoru..

Abstract:

In real life, it is necessary to distinguish whether and how gender identity determines or hinders free decision-making in life. For this reason, I selected the recurrent issue of anti-female discrimination as the topic of my work. My work focuses on the role of women in history, on female problems nowadays both in family and at work and in general on the campaign for equal opportunities of women and related issues. This work consists of four parts. The first three parts are theoretical whereas the fourth part is research-oriented. The first part of this work concentrates on the female role in the family, the second part deals with education and careers of women, and the third part reflects the position of women in public life. My research focuses on the problems of today’s women in their family and work environment and generally on women’s campaign for equal rights and related issues. A woman’s life is not and cannot be identical to a man’s life, yet the lack of similarity can have many social aspects and some of them may result in inequality. Both men and women participated in the quantitative research survey I conducted. The sample of respondents was random. For the needs of a qualitative survey, I addressed six women who were willing to participate in this research using the form of conversation.
