Adaptation Measures to Reduce the Impact of Climate Change in the Křelov-Břuchotín District

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá klimatickou změnou a adaptací na ni. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na projevy klimatické změny v České republice a v zahraničí, zranitelnost jednotlivých sektorů a jejich adaptace. Praktická část zpracovává studii, jejímž cílem je navrhnout adaptační opatření pro konkrétní lokalitu, suburbanizovanou obec u krajského města v regionu Hané. Práce provádí analýzu současného území a protíná klimatickou předpověď pro konec 21. století se zranitelností území. Na základě analýzy jsou navrženy konkrétní adaptační opatření, která zvýší resilienci území proti změně klimatu.

Abstract:

The topic of this thesis is climate change and climate adaptation. The theoretical part focuses on the impacts of climate change in the Czech Republic and abroad, sectoral vulnerabilities, and the adaptation of different sectors to climate change. The case study focuses on a municipality in a suburban area close to the regional capital of the fertile agricultural region of Hana. The analysis of the area together with the climate predictions for the 21st century is analysed. Subsequently, specific measures for climate adaptation are designed with the goal of increasing the resilience of the area against the impacts of climate change.
