Analysis of attitudes of children from different socio-cultural backgrounds to the classroom climate

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje analýze postojů dětí z odlišného sociokulturního prostředí ke klimatu školní třídy. Teoretická část práce se zabývá oblastí školního klimatu a problematikou sociální exkluze. Empirickou část tvoří výsledky šetření pomocí dotazníku Klima školní třídy (Mareš, Ježek, 2012). Cílem výzkumného šetření je zjistit, nalézt a porovnat u vybraných respondentů jejich postoje k vnímané opoře od učitele, přenosu naučeného mezi školou a rodinou, rovnému přístupu učitele k žákům, preferenci soutěžení ze strany žáků, vztahům a spolupráci se spolužáky a dění o přestávkách. Výzkumu praktické části se zúčastnilo celkem 108 žáků druhého stupně základních škol z odlišného sociokulturního prostředí. Na základě výzkumu jsou formulovány závěry a doporučení, která jsou využitelná v praxi speciální pedagogiky - intervence a dalších disciplín tzv. pomáhajících profesí.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis is devoted to the analysis of the attitudes of children from a different socio-cultural environment towards the climate of the school classroom. The theoretical part of the work deals with the area of school climate and the issue of social exclusion. The empirical part consists of the results of an investigation using the Classroom Climate questionnaire (Mareš, Ježek, 2012). The aim of the research investigation is to find out, find and compare among the selected respondents their attitudes towards the perceived support from the teacher, the transfer of what has been learned between school and family, equal access of the teacher to pupils, the preference of competition on the part of pupils, relationships and cooperation with classmates and what happens during breaks. A total of 108 pupils of the second grade of elementary schools from different socio-cultural backgrounds were recruited for the research. Based on the research, conclusions and recommendations are formulated that can be used in the practice of special pedagogy - intervention and other disciplines of the so-called helping professions.
