Adaptation Process in a Selected Organisation

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá adaptačním procesem ve vybrané organizaci. Adaptační proces je stále v některých firmách podceňovaná oblast v rámci řízení lidských zdrojů. Dobře nastavený adaptační proces má zajistit hladkou adaptaci pracovníka v organizaci. Výhodou pro organizaci je adaptovaný pracovník, který pak bude poměrně rychle dobře vykonávat svoji práci, bude angažovaný a cítit se součástí organizace, a nebude tak docházet k velké fluktuaci zaměstnanců. Cílem práce je pomocí kvalitativních rozhovorů zjistit, jaké bariéry brání tomu, aby byl adaptační proces ve vybrané organizaci efektivní. Práce se skládá ze tří částí: teoretické, metodologické a analytické. V teoretické části jsou popsány důležité teoretické koncepty, které se týkají adaptačního procesu. V metodologické části jsou uvedeny jednotlivé dílčí výzkumné otázky a jejich operacionalizace. A v poslední, analytické části jsou analyzovány odpovědi jednotlivých respondentů a je zodpovězena hlavní výzkumná otázka.

Abstract:

This master‘s thesis deals with the onboarding process in a selected organisation. In some companies, the onboarding process is still an underestimated part of human resources management. A well-set onboarding process should ensure smooth adapting of an employee to a company, which will enable the employee to do their job effectively in a short time as well as make them feel to be a part of the company. The aim of the thesis is, with the help of qualitative interviews, to find out which barriers prevent the onboarding process in the selected organisation from being effective. The thesis consists of three parts: theoretical, methodological and analytical. In the theoretical part, important concepts related to the onboarding process are described. The methodological part introduces each of the research questions and their operationalization. Finally, the analytical part analyses the answers of each of the respondents and the main research question is answered.
