Abstract:

Tato práce pojednává o generaci X a Y, které budou v příštích letech zaujímat 70 % pracovního trhu, proto je důležité přiblížit si jejich pracovní podmínky. Cílem práce je zmapovat a zorientovat se v potřebách zaměstnanců generace X a Y, porovnat je a poskytnout informace jak o společných, tak i o odlišných potřebách obou generací v oblasti pracovních podmínek. V teoretické části jsou poskytnuty informace především o generacích X a Y, jejich charakteristických znacích a jejich srovnání na základě výzkumů či studií. V praktické části je vyhodnocené kvantitativní dotazníkové šetření, které je porovnáno jak s teorií, tak s již provedenými výzkumy v této oblasti. Na tuto část navazuje shrnutí výsledků s ohledem na výzkumné otázky a návrh doporučení pro zaměstnavatele.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with generations X and Y, which will occupy 70 % of the labour market in the coming years, so it is important to bring their working conditions closer together. The aim of the work is to map and focus on the needs of employees of generation X and Y, to compare them and to provide information about both common and different needs of the two generations in terms of working conditions. In the theoretical part, information is provided mainly about the generations X and Y, their characteristics and their comparison on the basis of research or studies. In the practical part, the quantitative questionnaire survey is evaluated, which is compared with both the theory and the researches already carried out in this area. This is followed by a summary of the results with respect to research questions and a proposal for recommendations for employers.
