Reflections on Professional Values and Ethical Principles from the Perspective of Social Workers in Social Services

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje reflexi profesních hodnot a etických principů z pohledu sociálních pracovníků v sociálních službách. Obsah práce je rozdělen na část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část se v první kapitole soustřeďuje na hodnoty, dále na profesní hodnoty, které se vážou k profesi sociální práce a na morální konflikty. Druhá kapitola se zaměřuje na samotný pojem etika, etiku sociální práce, etické principy a etická dilemata. Závěr teoretické části představuje sociálně aktivizační službu pro rodiny s dětmi, sociální práci s rodinou a práci terénního sociálního pracovníka. Druhá část bakalářské práce je věnována praktické části. Praktická část zkoumá formou kvalitativního výzkumu vnímání profesních hodnot a etických principů z pohledu sociálních pracovníků.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the reflection of professional values and ethical principles from the perspective of social workers in social services. The content of the work includes the theoretical and practical parts. The first chapter in the theoretical part focuses on values, then on professional values related to the profession of social work and moral conflicts. The second chapter focuses on the very concept of ethics, ethics of social work, ethical principles, and ethical dilemmas. The conclusion of the theoretical part presents a social activation service for families with children, social work with the family, and the work of a field social worker. The second part of the bachelor thesis is devoted to the practical part. This part examines the perception of professional values and ethical principles from the perspective of social workers using the form of qualitative research
