Práce se zabývá postavením osob se sluchovým postižením v současné společnosti z pohledu rovnosti a možné diskriminace. This thesis deals with the status of people with hearing impairment in contemporary society considering the equality and eventual discrimination. It analyzes some legal principles and their level of fulfillment in relation to the Deaf and the legitimacy of the presumption ignorantia iuris.
