Translation with commentary: a literary text
Abstract:
The aim of my thesis was to translate into Czech the short story Heat by Joyce Carol Oates, and provide the translation with commentary that addresses to problematic parts of the text and shows possible solutions. The translation is preceded by a stylistic analysis.

Cílem této práce bylo přeložit do češtiny text povídky Heat od Joyce Carol Oatesové a překlad doplnit komentářem, který se zabývá problémovými místy textu a poukazuje na možná řešení. Překladu předchází stylistická analýza.
