A Universal Contact Adapter for a Counterfeit Components Detector

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je seznámení se s používanými typy pouzder elektronických součástek (integrovaných obvodů) a s dostupnými testovacími (programovacími) adaptéry. Poté na-vrhnout koncepci univerzálního flexibilního kontaktního adaptéru kompatibilního s detek-torem padělků SENTRY a na základě zpracovaného návrhu zrealizovat funkční vzorek a podrobit jej experimentálnímu testování pro ověření jeho funkčnosti a následně formulovat případné doporučení pro jeho modifikaci. Součástí této práce je také charakteristika mož-ností testování součástek na detektoru padělku SENTRY.

Abstract:

This thesis was aimed at electronic component package variability study, preferably at inte-grated circuit standard package range. That comprehensive information served for a versa-tile and flexible contact adapter design with the contact interface compatible with the SENTRY Counterfeit IC Detector contact field. That design was to be implemented as a concept example for analytical abilities demonstration. The experience from first testing and all that design process were expected to be embodied in recommendation for other contact adapter variants and /or further development process.
