Influence of free time on social patologies on children and adolescents

Abstract:

Tato práce je zaměřena na zkoumání vlivu volného času na sociálně patologické jevy u dětí a mladistvých. Cílem práce je zjištění a popis stávající situace v oblasti toho, jakým způsobem děti a dospívající v České republice tráví volný čas, jak fungují české rodiny a jaké, respektive za jakých podmínek se vyskytuje rizikové chování u dětí a mladistvých. Dalším cílem této práce je snaha na základě uskutečněných šetření navrhnout metody, které by bylo možné využít pro prevenci sociálně patologických jevů. V úvodu je jasně definováno, jaký problém je studován a jak se k němu bude přistupovat. Jsou zde krátce představeny jednotlivé části práce, dále jsou zde soustředěny myšlenky a názory autora, které se odrážejí v odůvodnění výběru daného tématu. V první, teoreticko-metodologické části práce jsou vymezeny důležité pojmy týkající se dané problematiky, jako například volný čas a sociálně patologické jevy. Je zde ocitována a parafrázována řada autorů, kteří se ve svých publikacích zmiňovali o podobných tématech. Analytická část je zaměřena na vědecké metody, kterými jsou řízené rozhovory a dotazníková šetření. Pro usnadnění přístupu ke konkrétním informacím je pro šetření vybrána část Prahy, Horní Počernice. Řízené rozhovory jsou vedeny s odborníky na danou problematiku, kteří zodpovídali dotazy týkající se jejich práce a jejich názorů na volný čas a sociálně patologické jevy. Dotazníková šetření byla prováděna mezi rodiči žáků základní školy ZŠ Stoliňská a mezi žáky druhého stupně tamtéž. Ve třetí části je obsažen návrh na perspektivnější zachycení počínajícího rizikového chování u dětí a mladistvých. Dále je zde popsáno subjektivní vnímání dané problematiky autorem bakalářské práce a konkrétní myšlenky a rady, které se týkají vztahu k dětem a dospívajícím. Provedenými výzkumy v podobě dotazníkových šetření bylo mimo jiné zjištěno, že rodiče nemají čas, případně zájem, se svým dětem plně věnovat. Tato informace byla potvrzena také ze strany odborníků, se kterými byly vedeny řízené rozhovory. Tento fakt je zmiňován zejména proto, že se jeví jako stěžejní pro výsledky této práce.

Abstract:

This work is focused on examining the impact of leisure time on socially pathological phenomena among children and adolescents. The purpose of the work is the detection and description of the current situation that concerns the manner in which children and adolescents in the Czech Republic spend their leisure time, how they work and what the Czech family does, respectively, under what conditions is risky behaviour among children and adolescents. The aim of this work is to propose on the basis of the investigation carried out the methods that could be used in the prevention of socially pathological phenomena. In the introduction there is clearly defined, what problem is studied, and how it will be accessed. There are brief individual parts of presented work, then there are concentrated author's thoughts and opinions, which are reflected in justification of selection of the topic. In the first, theoretical-methodological part of the work there are defined some important terms relating to the issue, such as leisure and socio-pathological phenomena.There are the quoted and paraphrased series of authors who are mentioned in their publications about similar topics. The analytical part concentrates on the scientific methods, which are controlled by the interviews and questionnaire investigation. To facilitate access to specific information, we selected for the investigation the part of Prague, Horní Počernice. Controlled interviews are conducted by the experts on the issue, who are answerable to the questions related to their work and their views on leisure time and socio-pathological phenomena. Interview survey was carried out between the parents of the pupils of the elementary school Stoliňská and between the pupils of the second grade primary school Stoliňská. The third part of the proposal contains the promising capture from the risky behaviour among children and adolescents. Then there is the subjective perception of the issue described by the author of the thesis and the specific ideas and advice that relate to children and adolescents. The researchcarried out in the form of questionnaire-based investigation, showed, inter alia, that parents do not have the time or interest.
