Evaluation of the quality of life in urban districts of the capital city of Prague

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá hodnocením kvality života v městských částech hlavního města Prahy. Cílem je pomocí metody vícekriteriálního rozhodování tuto kvalitu života zhodnotit, přičemž dochází k seřazení posuzovaných variant dle výsledného užitku. V teoretické části je provedena rešerše literatury a přiblížena použitá metodika. Dále je vybrána vzorová studie, podle které jsou určena rozhodovací kritéria. Hodnocení kvality života v městských částech Prahy je koncipováno na základech Velké německé studie, která své hodnocení rozděluje do dvou částí. Jelikož v každé životní fázi osoby shledávají důležité jiné aspekty, je proto i v této práci kvalita života hodnocena zvlášť pro rodiny s dětmi a zvlášť pro seniory. V praktické části jsou přiblíženy sledované ukazatele a vyhodnoceny celkové výsledky. Z hlediska kvality života rodin s dětmi se jeví jako nejlepší městské části Praha-Zbraslav a Praha-Dolní Chabry. Nejlepšího hodnocení z hlediska kvality života seniorů dosahují městské části Praha 2 a Praha 6.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the evaluation of the quality of life in the urban districts of the capital city of Prague. The aim is to evaluate the quality of life using a multi-criteria decision-making method, whereby the assessed options are ranked according to the resulting utility. In the theoretical section, literature research is conducted and the methodology used is presented. Furthermore, a sample study is selected, according to which the conflicting criteria are determined. The assessment of the quality of life in urban districts of Prague is based on the Great German Study, which divides its evaluation into two parts. Since people find different aspects important in each life phase, quality of life is therefore also evaluated separately for families with children and seniors. In the practical section, the observed indicators are presented and the overall results are evaluated. In terms of the quality of life of families with children, the best districts are Prague-Zbraslav and Prague-Dolní Chabry. The best rating in terms of quality of life for seniors is achieved by the urban districts of Prague 2 and Prague 6.
