The Most Significant Destinations of Religious Tourism in Eurasia

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje významu a specifikům tvorby produktu náboženského cestovního ruchu a vymezuje nejvýznamnější poutní destinace v Eurasii na základě návštěvnosti. Za tímto účelem je proveden kvantitativní výzkum formou dotazníkového šetření, následovaný komparací nabídek cestovních agentur a kanceláří specializujících se na poutní zájezdy na tuzemském trhu. Pro zkoumání jsou vybrány tři náboženské směry: křesťanství, islám a judaismus. Na základě získaných výsledků jsou formulovány návrhy poutních zájezdů, včetně kalkulací a programů, pro cestovní kanceláře do destinací s menším turistickým zatížením.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the significance and specifics of creating products for religious tourism and identifies the most significant pilgrimage destinations in Eurasia based on their visitor numbers. For this purpose a quantitative research is used in the form of a questionnaire survey, followed by a comparison of offers from travel agencies specialising in pilgrimage tours in the domestic market. In this thesis were chosen three religions: Christianity, Islam and Judaism. Based on the results, pilgrimage tours are suggested for travel agencies to less tourist-heavy destinations. Designed tours including cost calculations and itineraries.
