The education of the correctional officers of the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na vzdělávání příslušníků Vězeňské služby České republiky. V práci jsou popsány výsledky mapování systému vzdělávání Vězeňské služby České republiky. Teoretická část je věnována problematice vzdělávání dospělých obecně a vymezuje základní pojmy a definice z této oblasti. Důležitým milníkem v mé práci byl rozhovor, který mě přivedl na myšlenku tak zvaných konstitučních porad. V praktické části je metodou dotazování zjišťována spokojenost příslušníků s nabídkou vzdělávacích akcí a jejich odbornou úrovní. Dále pak jsou zjišťovány překážky, které jim brání účastnit se vzdělávacích aktivit, které nabízí Akademie Vězeňské služby České republiky.

Abstract:

The Bachelor thesis focuses on the education of the correctional officers of the Czech Republic. The work describes the results of monitoring the educational system of the members of Prison Service of the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the first theoretic part the problem of adult education is defined and key words and definitions are specified. It is followed by the idea of the so-called constitution consultations, figured out after the important point, an interview. The second part of the thesis describes the correctional officers interviewing for the possibility of education and its professional quality, the obstructions preventing them from participating in the educational activities offered by the Institute of Education of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic.
