The development changes of the artistic branch in Czech puppetery according to theather literature in the era from the beggining of the 20th century untill the 2nd world war

Abstract:

V období od začátku 20. století do období konce 2.světové války došlo v historii českého loutkářství k mnoha podstatným změnám, které měly vliv na vývoj loutkářství v českých zemích v letech následujících. K nejpodstatnějším z nich patřilo postupné opuštění tradice kočovného loutkářství a založení stálých loutkových souborů, které fungovaly zatím na amatérské bázi. S tím souvisela nutnost vzniku repertoáru jednotlivých scén, otevřena byla problematika loutkářské dramatiky. S vývojem loutkářské literatury souvisela i tvorba scénografická, později i tvorba režijní. Tento text popisuje situaci loutkářství vymezené doby, na práci nejvýznamnějších osobností loutkářské obce (v průběhu jejich uměleckého vývoje) se snaží přiblížit teoretické smýšlení o něm a prokázat posun v inscenační praxi, kterého během tohoto období dosáhlo. Tyto změny rozpoutaly v následujícím období k další loutkářskou aktivitu, vedoucí až ke vzniku sítě profesionálních stálých loutkových scén.

Abstract:

There were many substantial changes in the history of Czech puppetery during the era from the beginning of the 20th century untill the end of the 2nd world war, which determined development of puppetery in Czech countries for the next period. The most important was the gradual process of leaving the tradition of wandering marionetteering and establishment of permanent ensembles, whose function was on the ameteur basis for now. This was connected with the great need to create a repertoire for each of them, the matter of playwriting for puppet theater was pointed out. Literary output had much to do with formation of stage design branch, later with line of direction work. This text describes the situation of the puppetery in the specify epoch, on the way of creating of the most distinguished figures of the puppet theatre community (and during their artistic progress), tries to explain the theoretic thinking about it and to proof the evolution in practice of stage-managing, of which it reached during this phase. This trends started in the following period fresh puppet acitivities, which led to formation of professional permanent puppet theater net.
